An elegant and uncommon example of late-1990s Japanese watchmaking, this Orient EMJ43-00 combines classic styling with one of Orient's most distinctive dial layouts.

Its original cream sunburst dial catches the light beautifully, complemented by gold-tone applied hour markers and dauphine hands. The standout feature is the unusual pointer day display at 6 o'clock, where a rotating hand indicates the day of the week rather than using a conventional day window. Combined with the framed date aperture at 3 o'clock, the result is a balanced and highly distinctive design rarely seen on vintage Orient models.

Retaining its original Orient stainless steel bracelet, this watch remains an excellent example of Orient's innovative approach to everyday mechanical watches.

Powering the watch is the renowned Orient Calibre 46943 automatic movement. Developed and manufactured entirely in-house, the 46943 became one of Orient's most respected movements thanks to its reliability, durability and ease of servicing. It remains one of the longest-running automatic calibres produced by the brand and is still highly regarded by collectors today.

Due to the age of this vintage timepiece, it should not be exposed to water. Water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
